Susie Paskins of Wandsworth Local Meeting will introduce 21.19, Dorothy Nimmo, 1979. The text is quite long so might be summarised as: ‘I rejected the strict, abstemious Quaker world I was brought up in, to chase success, pleasure and self-fulfilment. Like the Prodigal Son, I spent my inheritance but ended up empty and depleted. Returning at last to Meeting, I was welcomed lovingly and unconditionally.’

Wimbledon's meditation sessions are generally mindfulness-based. There is a brief 'Hello' at the beginning followed usually by some gentle Qi Gong and focus on the breath before the meditation which generally lasts about 20 minutes.
